How to use Google Scholar in research evaluation in the social sciences?
In fields such as Anthropology or Pedagogical Sciences and Educational Research, the database of Web of Science is not the database to go to. These fields have research programs with a varied background, some firmly placed in a humanities tradition. Coverage in Web of Science is in such situations less than desired.
