CContextual Response Analyses may have varying structures, depending on the mission of the institute or entity to be analyses. Here you will find an example of a Contextual Response Analysis of CPB Netherlands Bureau for Economic Policy Analysis. Contextuele Respons Analyse van het CPB 2016-2021 (Report in Dutch)

As an independent research institute, CPB Netherlands Bureau for Economic Policy Analysis (CPB) provides policy-relevant economic analyses and projections. The bureau conducts research on the Dutch economy and on general socio-economic policy. Therefore, the analysis for CPB pays considerable attention to the response in Parliament with extensive quantitative and qualitative reviews of how MPs and Government react on CPB reports. The focus is on how CPB and its reports are represented, in a positive as well as negative manner. Extensive attention is also given to media coverage and to the response found on Twitter. In the period of analysis more than 20.000 articles in printed news media can be found. These too can be analyses quantitatively and, on a statistically based selection, qualitatively. The theoretical concepts for qualitative analysis are wide ranging, using sociological and STS insights as well as from media studies. All in all, the analysis is an in-depth investigation into the reception of CPB as an independent scientific policy analysis institute, also with respect to critical societal responses on scientific research.
